Updates...

Jason is still on stand-by in Meridian, Mississippi but should be heading to Texas tomorrow sometime. He heard that Houston has 4 million people without power! Maybe we'll see him by Christmas?!
Lexi went to the vet today and at 13 weeks, she's 27 1/2 lbs. She'll need to go back 2 more times (16 and 19 weeks)for the rest of her puppy shots because Rotties don't hold the vaccines as well as other breeds. Plus Rottie pups are susceptible to the Parvo virus which is deadly, so the extra round of shots should keep her nice and healthy and hopefully around for a long time. The vet said it's ok for her to swim in the lake but I have to clean her ears afterward so that their isn't any bacteria left in there. So the next day it's nice out we are going to take her up to my Mom's to see what she thinks about the lake. I've never had a dog that like water as much as she does, any little puddle she sees she has to pounce in it. If we have a bucket of water for the kids to play with, she has to stick her whole head in there. When it rains, she loves to sit under the downspouts and play with the water. I'm hoping she likes the lake and will maybe coax Sabrina in also.
