Great friends...

Last night the kids and I were going to attend the Whitmer Homecoming game and hopefully catch a glimpse of some Ty-candy, but with the way the weather was we decided to skip the game. So I asked my friends, Sarah and Angie if they wanted to have girls night in with the kids. They agreed and we all had a great time, the kids and adults! We had pizza, ice cream, drinks, and great conversation. The kids were able to eat however much they wanted, they played in the basement and got to be crazy kids, they even went out front and played some games (which was fun for us to watch because they all started getting silly and having those wonderful belly laughs). I enjoyed myself immensely because I had 2 of my great friends over and I had adult conversation! lol It was just really nice to have that adult time and unwind a bit, I feel like a much better Mom today for getting that. Thanks girls, for making our Friday night so fun!
