I was busy putting on my big girls eyes tonight (it's the 3rd time I've used mascara, it might just be my new favorite thing!) and Jojo says "Mom, you are putting mascara on AGAIN?" Mind you the hands were on her hips as she said this.
"I sure am Munchkin, why? Don't you like it on me?"
"It looks fine, but you know you are wasting it."
"Wasting it," I reply "I only use a little bit."
"Oh, well I thought you bought it for me and my competitions?" Hands are still on her hips.
I think my dear daughter forgets that we live in a time when I can easily run up the road to the local grocery store and buy more. The teenage years should be such fun!
