Sounds...

I was lucky enough to listen to my kids snoring last night...instead of being sick.
I was unlucky enough to hear the rain/snow mix hitting the roof...instead of listening to the warm breeze coming through the windows.
I was blessed to hear the kids laughing together...instead of hearing them argue.
I was amazed to hear Jakey singing a song about us as a family...instead of hearing him complain.
I was in awe watching Landyn babble and giggle at Jojo...instead of hearing about it from someone else.
I was so glad to hear Maria telling me all about the fun times she's having at her daughters...instead of hearing her stress about all the paperwork that needs to be done.
I was able to hear my Mom brag about her grandkids to other people at the party.
I was able to hear Jakey whisper to Jason "I love you Daddy" as he drifted off to sleep.
I was lucky enough to not hear anything after I feel asleep because I knew my family was safe and sound for another night.
