8:50 am...

My poor hubby is sleeping in a church on FEMA cots and hasn't had a shower in 2 days! He's beat(they worked til 12:30am and had to be up by 6am), hungry (their first meal yesterday was at 4:30 pm!), cranky (lack of food and sleep will do that to a person), and hot. The city is called New Roads and nothing has power, so finding a restaurant or gas station with power isn't going to happen. Some lady is cooking food for them and bringing them box lunches, which is very, very nice. He said the food is ok, but they have rice with EVERYTHING and he's getting sick of rice. lol I'm sure they'll be in this environment for awhile since there is so much destruction, poor guy.
