So far behind but really, truly blessed...

This year with both the kids in so many different activities I've really fallen behind on my Christmas shopping. Long gone are the nights where we had nothing pressing to do. Those have been replaced with practices and school activities. I even had to cut back to watching only 3 children because I have to be at school every day for something and I just didn't have the room in my car to load everyone into. I really didn't want to have to buy a bus just to continue watching kids. I've been involved in lots of things with the school and try to attend all the functions and meetings that time allows. My friend is opening her own business and needs some help with painting, cleaning, fixing things, etc. Tomorrow is my day off and I was going to get some Christmas shopping done, but I decided since my friend is in need, I'm going to lend my services. If I have to lug a kid or two out Christmas shopping, so be it. I'm a truly blessed individual who has such a hard working husband that allows me the comfort of being a SAHM. I can be there for the kids whenever they need. I can be involved and make a difference in their upbringing. I have friends who would help me at the drop of a hat, who can lift me up on bad days, and make me laugh even harder on good days. So if I'm a little behind on somethings, so be it. I'm living my life and enjoying the ride!
