I'd heard great things about the Columbus Zoo and we were not disappointed. The exhibits are state of the art, lots of room, and many times the animals are right near the glass/fence/walkways.
Here's a look at what we saw.

Have to stop at the petting zoo. The kids fell in love with this little white one and Jojo even named it Snowball.

The polar bear exhibit was one of our favorites. The polar bears have a lot of room to roam but they spent most of their time in the water.

The neatest part was watching them from the underwater viewing area. There were live fish in the water and they kept diving, and playing, and making us all ooh and ahh.

This was another favorite, seeing the lions and lioness so close.

The manatee aquarium was spectacular! They really look like gentle giants.

Another neat exhibit was the Kangaroo one. You walk into the enclosure and walk/hop along with the 'roos! Most of them were napping and didn't even mind that we were standing right next to them.

Jakey called this the "Kangaroo Gang."

Of course, we spent lots of time at the wolf exhibit because it reminds us of our Sabrina girl.

The kids and an orangutan.

Jojo and Jakey with a manatee.

I wish the weather would have been a bit warmer and sunnier, but we still had an amazing time. Hopefully we can make it back when it's warmer and more animals are out and about.
