* This big thaw we are experiencing makes me want to start planting bulbs.
* I can't believe how many land mines (aka doggy waste) was uncovered by this thaw. I'm usually pretty good about getting out and cleaning up, but with all the snow storms we had, the landmines kept getting covered up. ICK!
* I miss my Mom. She's 5 times zones away and I'm SO ready for her to get home.
* I'm experiencing so much cattiness and segregation among the cheer mom friends, I feel like I'm back in high school. I'm still friends with everyone and no one is directing anything towards me, just not as much fun as it once was. I thought at 34, the girl drama would be over.
* We signed Jakey up for T-ball the other day and he is BEYOND excited. Jason is going to help coach and he's BEYOND excited for it all to start. Luckily the games don't start until Jojo is all done with the competitions, so hopefully practices are different nights so that I can watch both kids practice.
* The little guy I watch got to have spaghetti for lunch today and I absolutely LOVED the mess he made! I used to love it when my kids would thoroughly enjoy their food and get it everywhere...hair, bellies, arms, feet, etc. I have many pictures of the messes and for as anal as I am about my house, the messes always made me smile and laugh right along with them.
* I made a roast for dinner tonight (even though I don't eat it) and as we were sitting around the table talking and eating, I couldn't stop smiling. This is our one free night of the week where we have nothing on and I look forward to cooking the big meals and not being rushed to do anything. Plus I love being the kind of family that sits at the table every night, talking about our days, and just being together.
* We all headed outside after dinner to play some b-ball. Playing b-ball made me start singing the Fresh Prince of Belair theme song and I had the kids laughing like crazy. I'm sure Jason was in the garage rolling his eyes! lol

3) The cheer drama sounds sad. It amazes me how grown women, especially moms of little girls, can be so catty. They are the reason little girls are so mean. It pains me to think about my girls being treated like that. Us moms should be setting the best example. I'm glad you are staying out of it, but sad you have to listen to it.
4) I love baby food messes. It's the only time in your life you can stuff food into your face and be praised for it. ;)
5) I love sitting around the table and having a nice relaxing dinner on the few nights a week we can. It's so nice to just enjoy that time together as a family. I'm glad you guys get to do it with all the kid's activities. ...and how fun for Jay to be Jakey's coach. That will be so special for both of them.
6) Fresh Prince...made me laugh.
