O Thank Goodness!

Jojo and I are sitting here watching the College Cheerleading Competition in Orlando on TV and I must say that I'm SO thankful that her squad and her future high school squad does NOT do stunting. I get nervous just watching it on TV, I cannot imagine seeing my daughter thrown so high into the air, while flipping/spinning. It does look neat, but I don't have the stomach to watch my own daughter do it.
On another cheerleading note, Jojo finally did her round-off back handspring on a flat floor, no mat or spring floor!!!! Her squad cheered at a Hoops for Heart fundraiser and I sort of told her a little white lie that the basketball floor had some cushion to it. She looked like she didn't want to believe me, but I spotted her one time and away she went. I was so proud of her and she even talked one of her friends into trying it as well. They looked so proud after their routine that they were able to do it on a flat floor. WAY TO GO JOJO!!!!
