Lovin' this hairstyle...

We had a competition 2 1/2 hours away yesterday and I was really worried about which hairstyle our coach would pick. I wanted something easy with minimal bobby pins. Having to get up so early, then travel so far, made me not want to have to deal with braiding, hair product, bobby pins, and a sore head at 6:30 in the morning. Not to mention hearing about it the whole way to the competition. Not that either one of my kids is a big complainer, but I understand the whole "hair headache". Being in my 30's I think even I would complain about it.
Luckily our coach picked half the hair up, half down, with a bump. Piece of cake! This requires 2 bobby pins, straightening the hair, and viola...Done!

Here Jojo is with her 2nd place trophy (I and some of the other Moms really thought they deserved 1st. Their whole routine looked much better to me)


As I said, neither one of my kids are big complainers. They are both really easy to get up in the morning (no matter what time) and usually start talking as soon as their eyes are open. Since both are really into books, this is what they decided to do at 7 am.
