Today Jojo had Santa's Workshop at her school, which is where the kids get to buy cheap gifts for family members. They pick them out all by themselves and even get to wrap them. Jojo is pretty good at keeping the gifts a secret, but she loves to tell me what she bought for Jason and Jakey. She informs me that she bought Jakey a baby spoon and a flashlight! "A baby spoon, for Jakey?" I ask. "It's super cute Mom, but I think he's going to love the flashlight!" lol It should be interesting to see Jakey's reaction when he opens that.
I can remember when my middle brother was in grade school and shopped at Santa's workshop he bought my Dad a gold unicorn necklace. It was really sparkly and even had a "diamond" for an eye! I remember trying to stiffly my laughter when my Dad put it on! I guess it was better than another set of screwdrivers. ;)

He told me about that gift! Too funny! I thought it was precious.
I can't wait until Landyn is old enough to do that (although I don't want him to grow up that quickly). Those are the gifts to cherish because they really do come from the heart. :)
