Nothing new to report...

Things have been pretty uneventful here lately, but I'm not complaining AT.ALL! We've been enjoying all kinds of after school activities and just some relaxing times as well. Trying to enjoy the downtime before all these competitions are upon us.
Jakey has taken a liking to the board game ,Sorry, so we've been playing a lot of that lately. He's still having trouble listening to me and following rules. I try to pick my battles, but I can't tolerate him not paying attention to the simple every day rules (being nice to the dogs, not using his tools on the furniture, sharing nicely, not hitting Jojo, etc.). We use a clip system (he gets a warning, then if he does the same thing - he gets a colored clip, if he does the same thing - another clip and 4 minutes in the corner, one more time and he gets a toy taken away. If he's good and gets no clips he gets a quarter)and he hasn't gotten a quarter in a few days. He's never gotten 3 clips, but there were a few days when he had 2. It doesn't really bother him when I tell him I'm disappointed in him, but once Jason tells him on the phone how disappointed he is...watch out for the water works. I just want him being polite and paying attention when he gets to school.
Jojo is having trouble with map grids in school, so I've been trying to find games on the computer to play and help her along. She's taken a liking to mad libs on the computer, so we've been having fun with those. She's very excited for cheerleading to start back up.
I'm busy with feeding the baby (I started watching an 8 week old 2 weeks ago), changing the baby, rocking the baby, making meals, cleaning, playing, and doing it all over again each day. I feel very blessed to be at home with my kids and share in all the things that they do. In turn I feel blessed that I have found some great kids to watch and get to help out their parents. Life may be a bit monotonous right now, but it's exactly what we need at this point.
