Why they need help:

After 5 months of struggling with a high risk pregnancy, Kelley’s health took a turn for the worse when she contracted a potentially fatal form of pneumonia. She was admitted into the hospital’s ICU unit where she continued to experience complications, developed Adult Respiratory Distress Syndrome and was eventually placed on a ventilator. That was 6 weeks ago and she remains in critical condition. Due to the severity of this type of pneumonia and extra fragile condition as a pregnant woman, Kelley was recently transferred to the UofM hospital where she continues to fight for her and her unborn baby’s lives.

As you can imagine, the outrageous medical bills are pouring in and Josh needs our help. The amount of people who have come forward asking how they can help has been amazing. Therefore, friends of the family are hosting this benefit dinner to celebrate the selfless efforts of such individuals and provide an opportunity for you to contribute where Josh needs it the most. Your participation will help raise money to alleviate the growing financial strains associated with such extensive, long-term medical care and will allow Josh to focus all his energy on taking care of Kelley.
