Which means the Royal Wedding!!!!
I remember watching it with my Mom (which her and I talked excitedly about this morning) and being in awe of seeing an actual princess! The long train on her dress, all the fanfare that went along with it, how elegant everyone involved looked.
I remember hearing about the princes being born and as I got older, watching them get older.
I can vividly remember driving home from Virginia and hearing that Princess Di had passed away in a car crash. After driving 14 hours, instead of sleeping like I should have I read the newspaper accounts and watched the coverage on TV.
I watched the funeral and my heart broke for Prince William and Prince Harry. I even remember thinking "Princess Di won't be there for their weddings or babies, how sad."
I wasn't all caught up in who the Prince's dated, but when the engagement was announced I was hooked.
There is just something about a fairytale romance (or so it seems to us outsiders). Kate Middleton looks elegant, confident, and ready for whatever comes her way. Prince William looks at her as though he really does love her and he's not just marrying her as expected of him.
I can't wait to watch it live and experience all that went into this huge, glamorous affair. I'll DVR it so that Jojo can watch it with me after school and experience watching a Princess crowned.
