What's going on?!

I've always been a pretty light sleeper. I will usually sit straight up as soon as someone enters the room. If the kids sniffle, I can hear them over the monitor (yes I still have a monitor in Jakey's room, don't judge). Lately I have been sleeping so soundly that I don't even hear a text come through or my kids walking into the room. Last night Jojo lost a tooth in the middle of the night, I guess she was nudging me and saying my name and I never heard her. I didn't like the feeling that came over me when she said this to me. I feel like I'm not doing the proper job as a Mom if I'm not on heightened hearing status. What else have I missed? What about when they get older, will I miss them sneaking out? I know I'm jumping the gun, but I felt horrible this morning.
I always thought that once I had kids, I would be a light sleeper til they left the house, guess that theory is blown out the window now. I'm thinking I should see what happens tonight and then possibly Google this subject tomorrow and hope I don't scare myself with the 1,265,441,786 hits that come up.
* Disclaimer...I wasn't drinking, so that isn't a factor. (thanks Steff! lol)

I've always been a light sleeper...and even more so since becoming a Mom. But, lately, I've been out the second my head hits the pillow and never hear a peep through the night. It scares me too.

I think it's just because we are so busy and I'm so exhausted by the end of the night. I'm hoping I go back to light sleeping soon. In the meantime, the monitor is turned up to full volume. ;)

Were you drinking? Beer always knocks me out.
