1. Watching an almost one year old, it was soooooo much fun! (I'm not trying to make you jealous Traci, just love that age and I was soooooo happy he had such a good day!)
2. Seeing the other boy I babysit so excited about his first day of first grade!
3. Not loosing my cool when Jakey kept disobeying me (he's been hanging out with an older boy and I'm seeing that's not a good idea. Not that this older boy "makes" Jakey do things he shouldn't, just don't want a follower, I'm trying to raise a leader. Does that make sense?!)
4. My MIL for taking the kids putt-putting for a bit.
5. Early bedtimes working out well (but I'm still not ready for the craziness of school schedules to start...that means summer is really almost over)

I totally understand #3. Sophia loves older kids, but she always acts out after hanging around them. I think it's good to hang out with older kids to a certain extent...makes them push themselves to do more, try new things, etc., but the older attitudes always rub off. I try my best to limit those interactions ;)
Jakey was an absolute doll at Putt-putt. I think he will be a natural athleticand he really did a fine job. He sure is a cutie. Loved every minute of it..Aunt Judy
