Jojo received a really neat book for her birthday that has activities and questions for a Mother and a Daughter to do together. There are questions about what I was like at her age, a family tree, ideas for girls nights or adventures we can do together, it's just really neat. One page had at home spa treatments so we ran to the bathroom giggling about what fun things we could do with ingredients from around the house. After laughing at some of them (banana mash mask), we settled on a sugar scrub for our feet. Now you all know I'm not a fan of feet, especially my own. I figured since it's for my daughter, I'd suck it up and participate. We mixed 3 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of baby oil and proceeded to rub it into our feet. This stuff really worked! My feet got really soft and it didn't even bother me to touch them! (This is a big step for me people!) We giggled and talked about taking a bath in it because it smelled so good. After we rinsed our feet we went around asking Jason and Jakey to feel them because they were so smooth. The feeling didn't last as long as I'd hoped (maybe 1/2 an hour), so next time we do it, we will put some lotion on them and wear socks to bed.
Maybe we'll get brave enough to try to banana mash mask, if we do, I'll be sure to take pictures and blog about that experience.
