Survey says...

Since I have a bit of time in between loads of laundry, I thought I'd do a survey that's floating around the blogosphere lately. Feel free to join in so that we can all learn a bit more about each other!

1. What is your name and do you have any nicknames? Jessica but I go by the nicknames JD, Jess, Momma, Mom, and Baby.

2. What color are your socks right now? White

3. What are you listening to right now? Lexi snoring and the washer and dryer.

4. What was the last thing that you ate? Tortilla chips with cheese.

5. Can you drive a stick shift? Sure can.

6. Last person you spoke to on the phone? Laura

7. Last place you went on vacation? Cleveland. Some might not call traveling for a competition a real vacation, but I didn't have to cook, clean, make beds, do dishes, etc...so that's a vacation to me!

8. What Hobbies do you have? Writing, decorating, crafts with the kids, gardening.

9. What is your favorite sport to watch on TV? Notre Dame football, Steelers football, NASCAR, and Mudhens baseball (live, not on TV - it puts me to sleep)

10. What is your favorite drink? Mountain Dew

11. Have you ever dyed your hair? Many times

12. Favorite food? Anything carb related! lol And Mexican food.

13. What is the last movie you watched? My Sister's Keeper

14. Favorite day of the year? Christmas. I'm a natural giver and I love seeing people's reactions to the gifts I bought for them.

15. How do you vent anger? Cleaning anything and everything. Sometimes listening to music really loud.

16. What was your favorite toy as a child? Barbies.

17. What is your favorite season? Summertime - the hotter the better!

19. What is your occupation right now? Mom and child care provider.

20. What do you want to be when you grow up? I've thought about being a writer, but I need to finish my book first and see where that takes me.

21. What state (or country for our international bloggers) do you live and what State or Country would you like to live some day? I live in Ohio and I'd love to live in Nags Head, NC. The only way that would happen is if all my family and friends could go with me. I'd never move my kids that far from family.

22. Living arrangements? I live in a house with my hubby (when he's not traveling), 2 kids, 2 dogs, and a guinea pig.

23. Do you have any pets? Sure do!

24. What is on the floor of your closet? A memory box, extra blankets, suitcases, tote with summer clothes.

25. What are three of your favorite items at the moment? My computer - it keeps me connected to family and friends. My dry erase/cork board - these keep me super organized. GPS - I favor this because it has games on it and it keeps Jakey occupied when we are traveling or watching competitions.

26. What did you do last night? I bowled on my league and then went to Niccole's for a beer with other friends.

27. Any news you want to share? Jason should be done working in NY by the end of March - this gives me mixed emotions though. This could mean another long layoff or it could mean work closer to home?! We just have to wait and see.

28. What do you like on your hamburgers? I don't eat hamburgers

29. Favorite dog breed? Rottie

30. Favorite day of the week? Saturdays - it usually means everyone is home and we get to enjoy a day together.

31. How many states have you lived in? 4 - NY, IN, OH, and VA.

32. Diamonds or pearls? Pearls. Although I absolutely love my open heart pendant that has diamonds on it.

33. What is your favorite flower? Sunflowers

34. Favorite meal you have ever had at a restaurant and which restaurant was it? It would have to be the soft turkey sandwich served on a soft pretzel at Bennigan's. SO DELISH!

35. What music are you currently listening to? We just got done listening to the new Lady Antebellum CD.

36. What is one fun thing you are looking forward to in the coming year? Hopefully a family vacation to the ocean.
