Last night we watched My Sister's Keeper and we all had a pretty good cry (Thanks for supplying the tissues Katie!). My Mom, MIL, SIL, and I had all read the book and had been anxious to see the movie and how it compares. We were not disappointed. There were some differences, but not enough to change the story line or that made us all look at each other in a state of bewilderment. It was nice to finally have a night of downtime and to spend it with some of the most important ladies in my life.
Next up I'd like to see Dear John. My MIL and I have read the book and it was one of those that I could not put down. I stayed up really late 2 nights just to finish it. I see a lot of similarities to Jason and I in that book. My friend Sarah has read it also, so I'm hoping we can meet up and watch that one.
