They've arrived...

All week Jakey was waiting for the city to come pick up the leaves in our neighborhood. They use 2 digs and a bunch of dump trucks and he just LOVES, LOVES, LOVES to watch them work. He was able to drive a dig with Jason when he was 3 and ever since then he's been fascinated by them.
Well I'm happy to say that on Wednesday afternoon, they arrived! After many disappointing days of telling him that tomorrow just might be the day, he was over joyed to see them on our street. He flung open the front door and stood on the porch in awe. I had to make him come in to put on a winter coat and hat. While he was inside, he asked if he could take some pictures with my camera. Here is how he documented this fantastic event:
