Laminate floor help...
We have wood laminate floors in our kitchen and dining room and I've always cleaned them with water and vinegar on a damp rag. I'd LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to get a steam mop (it would be so quick and sanitary) but the steam mop would ruin my floors. I Googled this topic and had lots of options come up. One that I tried today was Windex and a Swiffer dry mop. I had both on hand so it didn't cost me anything, but I'm not sure it really cleaned the floors. With 2 dogs, 2 of my own kids and 3 others that I watch, I don't want to see everyone's socks dirty on the bottom. So I'm asking all my blogger friends if you have laminate floors, what do you do to clean them?

Sorry, we don't have laminate, but I'm all about getting on my hands and knees to clean the floors. It's the only way I feel they truly get clean.
My mom used to use a microfiber mop (with detachable/washable microfiber pad) on her laminate wood - you can buy them at Target for pretty cheap. She also used vinegar and hot water; which will do the trick to disinfect and clean. I've also heard you can use dishsoap diluted in hot water?
I'm not sure if my wood floor in the kitchen is laminate, but I use this (which also works on laminate floors): http://store.mybonahome.com/
I spray is on the floor, and then use a mop. It does an incredible job! The floor just shines!
(My mop looks likes the one in the photo on the package here: http://store.mybonahome.com/product.aspx?pid=359 )
